Tracey (Stotinka): From the idea to the realization of a web application for sports events

Through our own experience in developing software solutions, we designed and built Tracey (Stotinka). A web application that simplifies the organization and promotion of sports events. This project was a great challenge that allowed us to combine technical skills and understanding of the specific needs of organizing sports events.

From idea to development

Our initial idea was to create an intuitive platform that would enable easy management of sporting events, from competitor registration to results posting. The key requirements were:

  • A simple interface tailored to organizers and participants
  • Fast data processing and secure results storage
  • Automated real-time results posting

To achieve these goals, we chose Java Spring for the backend and Angular for the frontend, while we developed the interface design internally, adapting it to user needs.

The design of the application is the result of a detailed analysis of user needs and is focused on transparency, ease of use and intuitiveness.

Final thoughts

Tracey (Stotinka) is not just another sports app – it represents our approach to software development: from an idea to a functional, scalable solution adapted to end users. Through this project, we proved how innovation and technological precision can improve the organization of sports events, and at the same time it served us as a valuable example of how we develop software solutions in our team.

Reactive systems architecture

There are two ways of constructing a software design. One way is to make it so simple that there are obviously no deficiencies, and the other way is to make it so complicated that there are no obvious deficiencies. The first method is far more difficult. – “C.A.R. Hoare”
